Mary Ella

I suppose I'll start with our oldest, Mary Ella.  She is 9 1/2 years old and is in the fourth grade.  She is a social butterfly making friends wherever she goes.  Mary Ella can hang with the boys just as easily as she hangs with the girls.  She enjoys school and is currently on the Lighthouse Team, Choir, reporter on the school broadcast, KJAC, and all-A honor roll.  You will also find her staying to help the teacher some Thursday afternoons.  She also enjoys her tumbling class where her goal is to learn how to do a back handspring....she's so close.  On Tuesdays, you'll find her on the tennis courts.

Life with a self-proclaimed "pre-teen" has been interesting.  Sweet Mary Ella has the privilege of being the first.  Our learning curve has been steep.  We are, after all, trying to raise a young lady who chooses good friends, good activities, good priorities and a good attitude.  Most of all, we just want her to know how much Jesus loves her and for her to learn how to shine His light onto others.
