Is "busy" an excuse?

Well, here it is over two years later and I've been feeling the urge to blog again.   I'm a big believer that what I choose to do with my time should align with what I state my priorities are.   Perhaps blogging took a back seat to many other things (ummm, the activities of 3 children???), but the bottom line is that I miss it.   Blogging was my creative outlet for so long and getting on Facebook did replace a lot of that time I spent on this blog.  However, the more time I spent on Facebook, the more I realized it was stunting my thoughts while taking away from the documentation of our girls' childhood.  Don't get me wrong... I do like Facebook for keeping up with others that I would not have kept up with, otherwise.  Blogging gives me the opportunity to dig deeper and to focus on those memories that I want to leave with our three girls.    Besides, I was always better at this than keeping up with their baby books...YIKES!  I will do my best to get this back up and running and will have to start with some basics on what we've been up to!  No worries!  A novel will not be written and you surely are not obligated to read.  This is truly a way for me to document our family story and you are welcome to join the ride.  However, I will be switching this over to a private blog for the safety and privacy of our family.   Feel free to let me know if you'd like to be added to the reader list.
