Finally

Finally, I was able to download some pictures to this computer!

In an brave effort to promote independence, I handed over the spoon and allowed Addy to feed herself. She actually did really well. I was, however, picking oatmeal pieces out of her hair all morning. As you can tell by the look on her face she thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity!

The birthday girl on her fourth donut of the day...with candles of course! Notice the headband. We have to wear something "light" pink everyday because this is a mandatory accessory. Guess I better go get more in different colors so she'll wear her other clothes. She's pretty attached to pink though...I'm not sure it would work.

Another note: Many of you have known me long enough to know my sister, Meredith. I don't want to throw her a "pity party" (Lord knows that is not what she wants) so I won't list everything she has had to face in her short life (She's 18 y/o). However, she's been experiencing a lot of back pain lately and received a MRI. Results indicate an enlarged area on her kidney and possible development of Rheumatoid Arthritis in her back. They are doing an ultrasound on her kidney Monday (July 30) and she will also see a rheumatologist that same day. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Rheumatoid Arthritis is often found in people with Crohn's Disease, so it wouldn't be uncommon. Naturally, we are hoping the arthritic changes are due to other reasons related to her Crohn's treatment. We are completely unsure of what could be causing the kidney to look funny, so we'll have to wait and see.

Also, please don't miss my posting about Caleb below. God Bless!

Courtney! I have been reading your blog fairly often until the past couple of weeks which have been a little crazy. You SHOULD NOT feel guilty about being a day late on my birthday because after realizing at 11pm on Mary Ella's that I hadn't called I HAVE STILL NOT. Expect a call from crazy aunt kristin tomorrow, I keep remembering at all the wrong hours of the day. I really love reading about my adorable nieces and am sorry that I can't be around more so I can watch them grow in person. Hope all is well! I love you!

Well your girls are adorable, but what else could be expected there. I live in fear of having a girl with a pink fetish as neither Bill nor myself can abide the color. Oh well.

Meredith is most definitely in my thoughts.
